Data of turnover of government securities is available in aggregate from 1996. The shorter time series are more disaggregated with respect to types of securities. From 2004 data on turnover is divided between government bond and inflation-linked bonds. From 2012 turnover for government bonds is divided between bonds short than 12 months and bonds longer than 12 months. In each link it is possible to choose different levels of aggregation by choosing between time series called 1996, 2004 and 2012 respectively. Turnover is also divided by counterparty (Swedish and foreign investors etc.) and contract type (spot, future, repos etc.). The source is the Riksbank and the statistics refer to volumes on the secondary market. The Debt Office receives data from the Riksbank in the beginning of each month and new data then refers to the previous month.
