Central government borrowing - forecast and analysis 2023:1

In this report, the Debt Office presents forecasts for central government finances and borrowing for 2023–2024. An assessment of the macroeconomic development is provided in the first section. The next section presents forecasts for the budget balance and the underlying analysis. These forecasts serve as the basis for borrowing, which is discussed in the last section of the report. The report takes into account developments up to 8 February 2023.
