New resolution plan for central counterparties as of 17 June

On 12 June, the Resolution Board decided on a new resolution plan for Nasdaq Clearing that will apply as of 17 June. Every year, the Swedish National Debt Office develops a resolution plan as preparation for being able to manage a central counterparty in crisis effectively.
The new resolution plan will apply as of 17 June. The Debt Office is to prepare a resolution plan for central counterparties each year, on which the Resolution Board then decides. In Sweden, there is one central counterparty, Nasdaq Clearing Aktiebolag.
The resolution plan is an important tool for being able to best carry out resolution if necessary.
