Complementary exchanges to loan 3108 March 23

In the exchange auction on March 23, we will provide exchanges for the existing loan SGB IL 3108 0.25% 1 Jun 22.

When introducing loan 3108 we offered exchanges. The demand was for different reasons limited. We will now give the opportunity to further exchanges to increase the outstanding volume. We will provide more information on exchange volumes, loan for exchange etc. in a press release on March 15.

In the report Central Government Borrowing, Forecast and Analysis 2011:2, published in October we stated that we intended to investigate the interest in a 30-year inflation-linked bond. Our soundings have not indicated sufficient interest and we decided not to issue such a bond at present. This was announced in a press release on 21 December last year. Instead we now use the exchange auction, which was previously related to the new bond, for another exchange.
